Plumbing Remodel Services In Salt Lake City

Millcreek Plumbing is Salt Lake City’s remodel plumbing partner since 2002, and our specialty is bathroom remodels: demo, rough plumbing, and fixture moves that keep your renovation on schedule. We also handle kitchen plumbing upgrades, laundry room reconfigurations, and the plumbing side of new accessory dwelling units.

Expert bathroom renovation plumbing

Bathroom Plumbing Remodeling

We can demo and sub rough plumbing, move fixtures where you want them, reposition toilets and showers, and reroute pipe when the layout calls for it, all while keeping everything tied into your home’s existing plumbing correctly. Inspectors see our work pass the first time because we don’t cut corners on code. If you’re not gutting the space and just need a fix, our bathroom plumbing repair page covers that.

Kitchen plumbing remodeling

Kitchen Plumbing Remodeling

New sinks and faucets, garbage disposal and dishwasher hookups, a water line run for the fridge’s ice maker, gas lines for a new range or cooktop, island plumbing for that layout you’ve been planning. Just dealing with a dripping faucet or a jammed disposal rather than a full remodel? Call us for kitchen plumbing repair.

Laundry room plumbing remodeling

Laundry Room Plumbing Remodeling

We put in washer and dryer hookups, add a utility sink where it’s useful, build proper drainage, run gas lines and vents for the dryer, and check that water pressure holds up for high efficiency machines. It’s code compliant work that still fits the square footage you actually have.

ADU

Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) & Garage Conversion Plumbing

Utah’s 2025 ADU law made it easier to add a mother in law suite, rental unit, or guest space, often by converting a garage or building something small and standalone. We handle the plumbing: water and sewer lines to the new space, a separate meter if the project needs one, and roughing in a bathroom or kitchenette where none existed before.

Outdoor plumbing

Patio Renovation Plumbing

Barbecue, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven. If you’re building out a patio or backyard entertaining space, we run the gas lines and make sure the connections are safe and up to code.

Home upgrades

Home System Upgrades

A standalone generator needs a gas line run to it before it’s any use in an outage. We handle that connection now, so the generator actually works when the power’s out.

How Millcreek Keeps Your Plumbing Remodel On Schedule

Many homeowners have the same frustrations when renovating their bathroom or kitchen. Either contractors who don’t communicate, plumbing work that doesn’t pass inspection, and even surprise costs that blow the budget. We see plumbing remodel project delayed because the plumbing wasn’t planned correctly from the start, and that leaves homeowners stuck with half finished bathrooms and kitchens.

That’s where Millcreek Plumbing is different. We solve that problem by getting involved early in the project. We’ll work directly with your contractor to plan out proper pipe routing, ensure adequate water pressure to your fixtures, and handle all the permits upfront. We also coordinate directly with Blue Stakes to get the utility lines marked before we start digging. If we uncover aging or corroded pipes along the way, our pipe repair team resolves them before your new fixtures go in.

With hundreds of successful bathroom and kitchen plumbing remodeling projects completed, we’ve earned our reputation as the remodeling plumber that homeowners trust most. And as we take on more remodel plumbing projects, we’ve expanded our team with a dedicated project manager plumber role to keep every job coordinated and on track from the first estimate to the final inspection.

What Our Remodel Plumbers Handle (And What We Don’t)

Clear expectations up front save everyone headaches later. Here’s exactly where our scope starts and ends on a remodel.

We handle: rough in plumbing (supply lines, drain pipes, vent stacks), fixture relocation (moving a toilet, shower, or sink to a new spot), re piping when walls are already open, permits, inspections, and Blue Stakes coordination. If a hole needs to be cut into a slab or wall to run a new line, we do that too.

We typically don’t handle: demolition of finished surfaces, tile work, and full one day bathroom conversions. For those, we work alongside your general contractor or a tile specialist so each part of the project goes to the right trade. If your project only needs the plumbing moved, not a full gut remodel, we can usually work with the space as it already stands.

Choosing your fixtures: we don’t carry a fixture catalog. You’re welcome to pick out and supply your own sink, toilet, or faucet, or we can purchase them for you as part of the estimate. Either way, we’ll walk through fixture placement with you (where the toilet, shower, and vanity go, and whether you need a separate line for anything like a bidet) before we start rough in work.
