How North Salt Lake’s Water Setup Affects Your Plumbing

North Salt Lake spans the southern part of Davis County from the townhomes of the Foxboro neighborhood on the west side, up to Eaglewood and the homes on the benches near the golf course. Some of these neighborhoods have new homes, and there are plenty of older homes close to Highway 89 that have been here for decades. We do plumbing repairs on both.

The city brings about 60% of the drinking water from wells and pump stations, and purchases the remaining from the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District. Yes- the city of North Salt Lake requires a permit and inspection for water heater replacements, and for most remodeling projects that involve plumbing. We’ll take care of the permit process for you. If you have any questions for the city directly, the North Salt Lake Building Department is at 10 E Center Street and can be reached at (801) 335-8720, Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm.

Most homes in North Salt Lake are on city water, which is a blend of well water and water purchased from Weber Basin, however some addresses are served by the South Davis Water District. Your water bill will tell you which one you’re on.
